Lyon: resumption of collections of used household appliances

From February 27 to June 26, 2021, the Métropole de Lyon and the Ecosystem organization are organizing collections of used electrical and electronic devices in Bron, Vénissieux and in the nine districts of Lyon.

Washing machine, stove, printer, telephone, iron, television, computer … Any object that works with batteries or on the mains (functional or out of use) can be deposited there.

This collection is free and open to all inhabitants of the metropolitan area. Be careful, wearing a mask is compulsory, as is respecting the rules of social distancing.

A second life

Small electrical appliances are routed to the Home of Our Lady of the Homeless to be eventually repaired and then reused. Large household appliances are entrusted to SEND, a social and solidarity economy structure which manages 1/3 of the collection structures for large household appliances in France.

When a device cannot be repaired because it is too damaged, Ecosystem takes care of its depollution and recycling in strict compliance with environmental standards.
