Christiane Endler returned to the starting lineup and played the entire match, being one of the high points of the French team.
In the first half Ada Hegerberg made it 1-0 at 3′ for Lyon. Later, Melvine Malard quickly came to increase the advantage and put the second in the 35th minute in favor of the French team. With the 2-0, both teams went to rest.
Already in the second half Catarina Macario came to decree the 3-0 at 72 minutes. Juventus felt the blow and went with everything in search of discount, which would come thanks to Andrea Stašková’s goal at 88′. Although they were only one goal away from equalizing the overall score, the ‘Vecchia Signora’ could not achieve a comeback.
Endler’s Lyon reversed the fall against the Italian team and now PSG is waiting for them in the Champions League. The recent winner of The Best award will again go to look for the long-awaited ‘Orejona’ and her faces will be seen in front of her former club.
