Lyon. Discover the best places for a date with two mobile apps

Bar, restaurant, cinema, park… You never know which place to suggest for a date? Happn and mapstr are coming to your rescue. The two applications have joined forces to create in Lyon (Rhône), as in other large French cities, a map bringing together the best addresses for a date.

Whether you prefer a stroll in the park, a brunch on the terrace or a cultural date, you will probably find a place that suits you. Because, as recalled well Sebastien caron, the founder of mapstr: “What could be more revealing of our personality than our favorite places? “

The application, launched in 2015, allows users to save their favorite places on a map and share them with other people. Last year, mapstr joined forces with Facebook to create a collaborative map where everyone could write down their good addresses.

The first map dedicated to dating

With the happn dating app, mapstr has set up a map dedicated to singles wishing to find an ideal place for their date.

About thirty places are listed in different categories. Among these: “Date on the terrace”, “Crush bar”, “Stroll in the park”, “Cinema lovers” and others allow Lyonnais to make their choice.

And for those who have not yet found their date partner, happn has also identified the best meeting places in Lyon.

These are the addresses with the most activity among happn users. Place Bellecour, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Parc de la Tête d’Or are among the top 3.
