By winning at home 2-1 against Lens, Lyon temporarily climbed back to 5th place. OL came back two lengths (19 pts) from the Sang et Or, still second while waiting for the meetings scheduled for this Sunday.
Lyon reacted by winning by forcing success in defense against Lens 2 to 1, Saturday on its ground in match of the 12th day of Ligue 1 but the Lensois can really feed regrets. Olympique Lyonnais provisionally climbs back to 5th place and comes back two lengths (19 pts) from Sang et or still 2nd while awaiting the scheduled meetings on Sunday. During a spectacular meeting, OL took a significant advantage in the first period with a goal scored by Karl Toko Ekambi, his 9th of the season, by converting a penalty awarded for a fault by Facundo Medina on Bruno Guimares (23 ).
Houssem Aouar, from the head, brought the score to 2-0 after a shot from Toko Ekambi repelled by goalkeeper Jean-Louis Leca (42).
If in Nice, the Lyonnais collapsed in the last ten minutes by conceding three goals to leave the victory to the Nice, this time they had much more success to keep the three points. Lens should have already opened the scoring in the first period on two shots from Jonathan Clauss and Wesley Saïd successively pushed back, in the same action, by Jérôme Boateng and Jason Denayer (12). Lopes decisive for Lyon

In the end, Lens, who tried until the end of additional time to seek victory, can really regret having lost after having framed ten of his eighteen shots against only four out of thirteen for OL who did not So there hasn’t been that many situations.
