After his family moves to New York, young Josh has a hard time making friends at his new school. Things change when one day he curiously explores the attic of his new home and meets the singing, talking crocodile named Lyle. The two soon become best friends. But the friendship is threatened by the evil neighbor Mr. Grumps, who wants to send Lyle to the zoo.
