OSLO (VG) On Monday night, the luxury yacht «Vanish» docked at the Port of Oslo. The yacht has a price tag of 120 million dollars, equivalent to around 1.2 billion kroner.

–According to Marine Traffic sailed the yacht from IJmuiden in the Netherlands on Sunday, before arriving in Oslo at 18:13 on Monday.
One of the crew on board says that they have had a nice trip.

Before “Vanish” docked, it was speculated whether the yacht “Big Beaver” could have taken the trip from Sørlandet to Oslo. Others wondered if they could be the emir of Qatar who had taken the trip. He was recently visited Kristiansand.
Last week, “Big Beaver” was observed whizzing through a sound in Søgnewhich caused many to react.

As recently as Saturday, the “Big Beaver” was also observed in Kristiansand, but we can thus state that it is not this yacht that is now at the quay in Oslo.
The hunt for the billionaire
The owner of “Vanish” is the billionaire Larry Van Tuyl (72), who will have a net worth of 3.5 billion dollars, equivalent to around 35 billion dollars.
The American family Tu Tuyl has earned their money through car dealerships, writes Forbes.
Larry Van Tuyl sold his car dealership empire in 2015, writes Automotive Newsbut has recently started buying other stores, including two Ferrari dealers.
–Van Tuyl was not to be seen when VG arrived at the Port of Oslo around 19:30. VG came in contact with someone else from the crew, who like his colleagues was diligently busy washing the yacht. He said “I’m very busy, the boss is coming in an hour.”
– What is he doing in Norway, is he on holiday?
– Yes.
–VG’s reporters were patient, but when Van Tuyl had not appeared an hour and 15 minutes later, it was just a matter of packing their bags and giving up hope of finding out about Van Tuyl’s holiday plans.
The company that built the Yacht is Dutch Feadship, writes Super Yacht Times. “Vanish” is listed as number 269 on a list of the world’s largest yachts.
