An expensive sports car from the luxury brand McLaren was ‘parked’ in a shallow ditch in The Hague on Sunday afternoon. The driver escaped unscathed. The bright blue sports car – not a cheap model – has probably suffered a lot of damage.

According to bystanders, the car’s engine was still running when it was in the shallow ditch. There was a lot of blue smoke coming from the car. In addition to a wet interior and suspected damage to the engine, a headlight was also damaged.
It appears to be a McLaren 570S, with a new price – without extra options – of around 250,000 euros. A rescuer removed the vehicle from the water.
