The woman who fell from a luxury apartment building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side had an altercation with her husband moments before she fell to her death.but the “devastated” husband explained that “he was not even at home,” reported sources close to the matter.
Identified as Alina Page, 35, fell from the 36th floor of The Brittany after her partner confronted her about her alcoholismsaid police sources.
The husband, Brian Page stated that he was not there when the incident took place.however, declined to answer questions about whether there was a dispute.
“She was the love of my life, my soul mate,” said the heartbroken husband. “I am devastated.”
The mother of two children was found dead with injuries consistent with a fall at the corner of York Avenue and East 92nd Street at 6:45 p.m., reported New York Post.
The woman She was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in critical condition, where she was later pronounced dead.

The family lived in the luxurious building, which has a private transportation service to the subway every 30 minutes, several sources confirmed.
Coming from Russia, Page often posted photos of herself on Facebook smiling happily with her two children. She and her husband would celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary in less than 10 days.
Authorities have not officially determined the woman’s fall as a suicide.but the neighbors said that The apartment building has extraordinary safety measures to prevent an accidental fall.
“The railing is very high… I would say it’s at least 4 feet,” said one tenant about the roof.
“[Las ventanas] They don’t open. They crack. All of them have child safety. I have small cats, so they wouldn’t be able to get through. “So she wouldn’t do it.”
“I’m glad I didn’t see it. “It is a very familiar building,” added the resident.
