The civil ceremony took place in an intimate circle at the town hall of Luxembourg City. After the short ceremony, the couple took the time to greet the population at Place Guillaume. It was Nicolas Bagory’s first official appearance, in the presence of the rest of the Luxembourg royal family. Through the Instagram account of the Luxembourg court images of the festivities are shared. For example, the wedding hall and the square around the town hall were decorated with Luxembourgish flags and peonies.
A reception is scheduled for tonight at the palace of the Grand Duchy for the royal family, friends and acquaintances of the couple, representatives of the Grand Duchy and other guests. No members of other royal houses were invited to the wedding, according to the Court.
There will be a church ceremony next Saturday. It will take place in Bormes-les-Mimosas in France, near the country residence of the Luxembourg court. Perhaps a larger wedding party is planned.
