Out of the trousers, off the chair and thanks to the airy railing also straight off the balcony. The knee-jerk downward grab is like knee-jerk grabs on someone in their mid-fifties dozing off in the sun. Primarily unsuccessful. So the case-less device makes its way from the second floor to the garden. While the financial consequences of this moment slowly become clear in the head above, routines are played out below. Just in case.

The fitness app registers a valley hike, the voice assistant asks what it can do. Spotify plays music from “Die Hard 1”, the photo app asks for a final picture, a green emoji vomits in the picture zoo, the stock market app wants to get out, the algorithms dance, the device orders itself as it falls.
