Lutsharel Geertruida sets his sights on a transfer to RB Leipzig, the Algemeen Dagblad knows. The 22-year-old defender has indicated in a conversation with Feyenoord coach Arne Slot that he wants to make the move.

The conversation between Geertruida and Slot showed that the former wants to leave Feyenoord this summer. Leipzig is very concrete for the Orange international and has already made an offer of twenty million euros. That was not enough for the Rotterdammers. Due to the transfer from Orkun Kökcü to Benfica, Feyenoord is not forced to make another sale, so that Geertruida can only go to Germany for a record amount.
