In the fifth round of the ADMIRAL 2nd League, there was no winner in the duel between SC Austria Lustenau and Floridsdorfer AC. The Vorarlberg team took the lead, the guests came back and played well in the final phase, but were unable to score the winning goal.
The Lustenau team started the match with a lot of momentum, but FAC also managed to make some offensive moves. Floridsdorf’s Bertaccini shot just over the bar after 23 minutes.
After half an hour, the Brenner team rewarded themselves for their efforts. Mikic passed back to Cisse, who scored in the bottom right corner to make it 1-0 (30′).
Then Lustenau keeper Schierl parries a FAC free kick (37th minute), but the goalkeeper is uncertain a short time later. After a set piece taken by Bertaccini, William Rodrigues has to clear the ball off the line (40th minute). Shortly before the half-time whistle, Cisse heads just wide (45th minute).
Lucky Punch is missing
Immediately after the restart, the Viennese can celebrate the 1:1. After a moment of inattention in the Lustenau defense, Flavio is alone in front of the goal after a through pass and scores with a clean shot (49′).
As a result, there were no highlights, but in the final phase, FAC came closer to scoring the winning goal. Substitute Aisowieren, however, only hit the crossbar (75th minute) and lacked precision when taking the ball from goalkeeper Schierl (84th minute). Bertaccini ultimately only hit the side netting (90th minute).
The score remains 1:1, meaning both teams have seven points.
