The parties are discussing for an outcome, but are struggling to come to an agreement in the case of Plessisvillois Alex Bellemare on which weigh twenty counts.
Before Judge Bruno Langelier of the Court of Quebec, the accused’s lawyer, Me Jean-Philippe Anctil, indicated that he was having discussions with the representative of the prosecution, Me Jean-Philippe Garneau.
“We are trying to resolve, but there are difficulties on both sides,” said Mr. Garneau.
Talks will continue until the case is brought back to court on March 31.
