In 1994, she had the vision of an entrepreneur to form the company Promocertamen, organizer and creator of the Nuestra Belleza México contest. In 1997, he innovated by creating the first male beauty contest in Mexico, generating through this platform professional opportunities also for males.

In 1998, the MATTEL toy company within the celebration that commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the launch of the Barbie doll, worldwide, names Lupita Jones, ‘AMBASSADOR OF DREAMS’, in Mexico. That same year the ‘Nuestra Belleza Infantil’ contest began.

Lupita Jones formally received on October 23, 2000, by the United Nations Population Fund, the appointment as ‘Goodwill Ambassador’ of a special program called ‘Face to Face’, which promoted the defense of human rights. human women.

Lupita was considered to receive this appointment because of her constant effort to seek recognition and dignity for the work and role of women today. She was at the United Nations headquarters in New York and was received by the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan.

This is how it reinforced the work carried out through Nuestra Belleza México in support of abused girls, with the Institution ‘Help and Solidarity with Street Girls IAP’, where through periodic visits it takes the girls from the institution messages that reinforce their self-esteem, security and desire to excel in order to achieve reintegration into society in a healthy and positive way.

In 2005, she was invited to be a spokesperson for the first national crusade against bulimia and anorexia: ‘Say no to Size Zero’, raising awareness about the existence of these diseases and the importance of being detected and treated appropriately.

In 1993 she launched her first book ‘Word of Queen’, where she recounted all her experiences as the first Mexican Miss Universe, as well as the difficult path she had to follow to reach that important goal.
