“I used to say: The gynecologist is like the dentist, we go to see him every year. Because women are no longer followed when they start to be menopausal. Getting treatment in Lunéville
For ten years, the Lunéville hospital center and the ICL (formerly Alexis Vautrin Center) have worked in close collaboration, with a breast path “to make access to care easier for people who have never come to Nancy”, explains the Dr Asma Merimeche, gynecologist, responsible for the breast path for the ICL. Only surgery and radiological treatments take place at Nancy Brabois, with the practitioners traveling for consultations. About a hundred women enter this course annually.
