MKK provides e-merchants and their customers with payment solutions and e-commerce-related services in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland.
Led by Lucas Art, the company’s CEO, the company has grown significantly in recent years and is currently used by around 3,000 active traders in the Baltics.
Inbank and Olsson & Nielsen Nordic established Maksekeskus in 2012 in Estonia, where it is currently the market leader in e-commerce services. Cooperation with Luminor will allow the company to significantly expand its development beyond Of Estonia, especially thanks to the “Luminor” network and customers in Latvia, Lithuania.
Lucas Arts will continue to serve as CEO and lead the MCC in the next phase of development under Luminor.
This transaction must be approved by the Estonian Financial Supervisory Authority and the Estonian Competition Authority. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months.
