Lumen Technologies has named Ryan Asdourian as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. In this role, Mr. Asdourian will oversee brand and product marketing, as well as corporate communications. Starting next week, he will report to Kate Johnson, President and CEO of Lumen, and will be part of the executive team.
Mr. Asdourian joins Lumen after spending 20 years at Microsoft, where he held leadership roles in product and marketing with increasing responsibility. Most recently, he led the company’s Security business group, with responsibility for P&L, sales and marketing for North and South America. Prior to this, Mr. Asdourian led business development and marketing for the Microsoft Surface Group in the US and the Windows and Devices Group in the UK.
Before that, he served as technical advisor to CEO Satya Nadella.
