Luluk-Lukman Responds to PBNU’s Ability to Block PKB Candidates in East Java Gubernatorial Election

The pair of candidates for governor-deputy governor of East Java from PKB Luluk Nur Hamidah-Lukmanul Khakim admitted that they did not care PBNU disrupting his candidacy in the 2024 East Java gubernatorial election.

On the other hand, Lukman believes that PBNU and PKB will be happy and firmer if Luluk and himself run for the East Java gubernatorial election.

The relationship between PKB and PBNU has been heating up recently due to the launch of the Special Hajj Committee in the DPR. PKB is one of the pioneers of the Special Hajj Committee. Then PBNU formed a special team to investigate the relationship between PKB and NU.

On the other hand, Lukman admitted that he was not afraid to fight against Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Tri Rismaharini in the East Java gubernatorial election. He said that PKB had a very strong capital in the East Java gubernatorial election because it was the political party that won the election.

“The first thing is that PKB has a very strong capital, because PKB is now the party that won the election in East Java and that is a capital that other parties do not have in East Java,” said Lukman.

Lukman claims that the people of East Java need a new figure who will take all the interests of the people of East Java. He said the people of East Java needed another candidate better than Khofifah.

“Well, you may already know Mrs. Khofifah, as well as Mrs. Risma. The presence of another candidate from PKB will make the regional elections even more lively. People will have better choices,” he said.

Luluk and Lukman have undergone medical tests at Fatmawati Hospital, Jakarta to obtain a health certificate to register as candidates for governor and deputy governor of East Java 2024.

He also said that he will register with the East Java KPUD on Thursday (29/8) tomorrow. He confirmed that PKB President Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin would be with the couple when they registered and campaigned for the upcoming East Java gubernatorial election.

“The plan is to register tomorrow, but of course we ask for prayers from the people of East Java, in principle we will try together to fill all the necessary documents,” he said.

Lukman explained that PKB in East Java has enough capital to nominate their own candidate for the East Java gubernatorial election. In addition, PKB has the status of the winning party for the 2024 Fraudsters in East Java.

“That is a capital that other parties in East Java do not have,” he said.
