Lulu Group has been awarded the responsibility for the commercial center project in the holy city of Makkah. Lulu is implementing the Makkah Commercial Center project in collaboration with Fairuz Development Investment Company, a prominent Saudi firm. The said project with an investment of 250 million riyals is located on Abdullah Aref Road in Makkah. (Lulu Group is selected for the Makkah Commercial Center project)
Lulu Group Chairman Yusuf Ali MA and Al Fairuz Development and Investment Chairman Sheikh Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Salman Al Rafai participated in the project handover ceremony. Lulu Hypermarket Saudi Arabia Director Shehim Muhammad, Western Region Regional Director Rafiq Muhammad Ali and other officials were also present.
The main feature of the project is the 200,000 square foot Lulu Hypermarket. It also includes a food court, family entertainment center and retail brands of international repute.
Sheikh Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al Rifai said that he is happy to cooperate with Lulu Group regarding the commercial project in Makkah. Lulu is a leader in the global retail industry, not only in Saudi Arabia, but across the GCC region. Sheikh Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Salman Al Rifai congratulated Lulu Group on this prestigious contribution.

Yusuf Ali added that the Makkah project, which will start working in three months, will provide more employment opportunities for Malayalis as well.
