Lull in love after prostate cancer – “Black Forest Clinic” star Heitz hopes for potency cream – disappointment follows

After Roland Heitz was diagnosed with cancer, his prostate was removed. Since then there has been a lull in bed. A new cream initially seemed to bring hope, but turns out to be both a blessing and a curse…

Since the diagnosis of prostate cancer everything is different – even in bed. The actor couple Janina Korn (40, “Großstadtrevier”) and Roland Heitz (66, “Schwarzwaldklinik”) want to become intimate again. But because Heitz had his prostate removed, things are difficult for the couple.

Potency problems after prostate surgery: Helping cream has “side effects”

During the operation, one of two vascular-nerve strands, which is important for male erections, had to be removed. The couple tried penis pumps and potency pills, but their sex life didn’t improve. Now the couple is relying on a potency cream. It helps – but it also comes with problems…

“I had almost given up hope, but then I found a new urologist in Oldenburg who prescribed the drug ‘Vitaros’ for me. In desperation, I agreed to test the drug,” Heitz told “bild.de”. The cream helps because it works without external stimuli. It is only applied to the tip of the penis to develop its full effect.

“Sex on vacation probably falls flat”

The couple’s hope that everything in bed would be the same as before was taken away at the pharmacy. Janina Korn remembers: “The pharmacist pushed a cool box over the counter for us. Inside was the medication and various cooling pads. We learned that the cream can only be transported and stored refrigerated.”

This is “a catastrophe” for the couple because their work as actors means they travel a lot and can’t always travel with a cooler bag. “Sex on vacation probably falls flat,” says a disillusioned Korn. “We have already canceled a trip in October so that Roland can get used to the medication.” But the cream seems to be working. Heitz sums up that the first test of the cream “gives hope again”.
