With each passing day, the electoral dispute for the second round in Brazil intensifies, as well as the insults among the candidates, discrediting each other.

So much so that a judge of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) of Brazil ordered Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to stop running an advertising campaign that associates Jair Bolsonaro with cannibalism, three weeks before the second round of the presidential election.

The consulting firm Ipec, one of the most important consulting firms in Brazil, has published a new poll ahead of the second round elections to be held later this month, where support for Lula hit 51% while Bolsonaro showed 42% support for the second round.
The latest poll that was released last week had thrown a similar result with 43% approval for the current president and the same result for the candidate Lula da Silva.
The result of the survey dates back to an interview with 2,000 people between 8 and 10 October with a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
Despite Brazilian criticism of IPEC for its high margin of error in underestimating support for Bolsonaro in the first round, today continues to indicate that if the elections were held today, Lula da Silva would be the next president of Brazil.

Furthermore, within the two finalist campaigns, 94 percent said they were sure of their vote, while the remaining 6 percent I could change it from here until next October 30th.

Please note that in the first round, on 2 October, Lula got 48.4 percent of the vote valid, against 43.2 per cent of Bolsonaro. Third place, Simone Tebet (MDB), remained with 4.2 percent and Ciro Gomes (PDT), with three percent.
