By order of the Mayor of Sofia Municipality Yordanka Fandakova, the “Lukovmarsh” was terminatedannounced by the municipality.
However, those gathered to honor the memory of General Hristo Lukov went under heavy police presence to Trakia Street, where there is a memorial plaque, BNT reported.
This time, too, the Sofia Municipality banned the torchlight procession, but it was overturned by the Administrative Court. The Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office approached the municipality and the SDVR to take measures to protect public order during the Lukovmarsh.
