Around 11.11 WIB, a wheelchair was seen being pushed out of the KPK building towards the front lobby by KPK officers. In the wheelchair sits the non-active governor of Papua Luke Enembe handcuffed.
Lukas wears an orange vest, short-sleeved white shirt and a mask on his chin. Petrus Bala Pattyona, who is Luke’s lawyer, claimed that his client’s health condition was deteriorating so he was rushed to the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD), Central Jakarta.
“We don’t know what his condition is yet, but friends can see earlier. Drop. He dropped,” Petrus told reporters at the KPK building, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday (17/1/2023).
Today, Lukas should have carried out the examination agenda as a witness against his alleged bribery, namely Rijatono Lakka (RL). Petrus heard that his client had defecated during an examination.

“Go to the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. We have asked the officer, he was rushed to the hospital,” he explained.
Petrus then said that the declining condition of his client had delayed the examination agenda regarding the bribery case being handled by the KPK.
Yesterday evening, another lawyer for Lukas Enembe, Stefanus Roy Rening, said that his client’s detention had been dismissed. Lukas reportedly returned to stay at the RSPAD.
“Earlier at 21.00 WIB, KPK admin phone that, sent a message to our admin that Mr (Lukas Enembe) was evicted tonight at Gatot Soebroto (RSAPD),” said Stefanus Roy Rening when asked for confirmation detikcom.
Rening has not explained why Lukas was dismissed. However, he said that Lukas was currently at the Kartika 2 Pavilion of the RSPAD.
When confirmed regarding conditions Luke Enembe, the KPK confirmed that the suspect was only undergoing regular consultations . The KPK said there was nothing to worry about regarding Lukas Enembe’s departure to the RSPAD.
“The information we have is that Lukas Enembe was taken to the RSPAD only for outpatient treatment on the recommendation of the KPK doctor. So far there are no urgent situations,” said Head of KPK Reporting Unit Ali Fikri when asked for confirmation.
Ali explained that Lukas would later undergo a doctor’s examination at the RSPAD. “The person concerned needs a doctor’s consultation and examination regarding the replacement and addition of the required medicines,” Ali concluded.
Meanwhile, KPK deputy chairman Alexander Marawata said the KPK would facilitate the treatment of Lukas Enembe in the country, such as at the RSPAD. However, if Lukas applies for treatment abroad, Alex said that for now the KPK is still unable to facilitate it.
“So for the time being we will not facilitate those concerned to seek treatment abroad. With the health facility available in Jakarta, the RSPAD (Central Hospital of the Army),” he told reporters yesterday.
However, if Lukas Enembe’s health deteriorates, Alex ensures that his party will facilitate Lukas to seek treatment abroad. However, the treatment must receive a recommendation from an RSPAD doctor and the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI).
“If there are health problems, hypertension, that’s because of the age factor, maybe also because of the condition of the body in question, and that can be overcome through the examination concerned at the RSPAD, this,” said Alex.
