They were looking for a difference fighter, tapping two Swedes and a Finn. Pilsen’s latest signing finally has a Canadian passport: the Indians have signed a contract with striker Luke Adam for a year, they reported on their website.
“Luke played for many years in Germany and consistently scored almost 40 points per season. We expect him to be in the first or second line,” outlined sports manager Tomáš Vlasák.

As a player for Buffalo and Columbus, he later made 90 starts in the best hockey league in the world. But he mainly worked in the farm AHL, where he even won the Rookie of the Year award in his first season.

The Russian media recently speculated that he could strengthen Toljatti, but… The classic power forward will take on a key role with the Indian on his chest.

This is the ninth addition to the Pilsen roster. And by the way, the Canadian fighter will meet Jan Piskáček again after years. Together in the past they defended the colors of the Cape Breton Eagles junior team.
