Lukashenko suddenly congratulated Ukrainians on Independence Day and gave advice – World

Lukashenko said he “wants to be friends with Ukrainians.”

Self-proclaimed president Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the Ukrainians on Independence Day and wished them a “peaceful sky”.

This is announced on the official website of the President of Belarus.

Lukashenko, who in 2022 allowed Russian residents to attack Kyiv from his territory, in 2024 wished Ukrainians “peaceful skies, prosperity and civil solidarity.”

“We are united not only by a common fate and family ties, but also by the desire to be friends and to be with our neighbors,” says the congratulatory message from the Belarusian dictator.

Also, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus advised the Ukrainians to “speak the language of peace for the future of all Slavic states, because there is no other option.”

Let’s remember that it was known before Belarus deployed aviation and air defense troops near the Ukrainian border. This came after self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko announced that nearly a third of Belarus’ troops would be stationed along the border with Ukraine.
