In turn, Putin recalled the forced landing of the plane with the President of Bolivia. In 2013, the plane carrying Evo Morales was landed in Vienna and searched for suspicions that it was also carrying former CIA officer Edward Snowden.

“The plane of the President of Bolivia was once planted. They took the president out of the plane … and nothing — silence,” the Russian president said.
