The unrecognized president emphasized that the Belarusian people have not yet settled for the Second World War.
Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko spoke in an interview with BBC News about the possibility of Russia and NATO being drawn into a nuclear war. The footage was published by the Pool of the First Telegram channel on November 20, the full version will be shown on Monday.
“If we unleash a war here, in Belarus, NATO will be involved, Russia will be involved. This is a nuclear war,” the Belarusian leader shared his opinion.
He also noted that the Second World War has not yet been settled with the Belarusian people. “Another 100 years have not passed since the beginning of the war, and you have already burst into this house again and are trying to unleash a new war,” Lukashenka stressed.
Also in an interview, Lukashenka said that the Polish security forces violated the Belarusian state border during clashes with migrants near the Bruzgi checkpoint.
He emphasized that “you cannot even turn your weapons” towards the adjacent territory. In addition, he admitted that the military of his country provided assistance to migrants from the Middle East in crossing the border with Poland.
