Lukashenka threatened Ukraine with ‘complete destruction’ and called on Kiev to negotiate (video)

According to the Belarusian president, the end of the war now depends only on the Ukrainian authorities, which should reach an agreement with the Kremlin.

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has said that if Ukraine does not agree to negotiations with Russia, the country presumably faces “complete destruction”. He said in a video interview with Russian media, transmit Belarusian pro-government Telegram channel “Pool of the First”.

According to him, the end of the war now depends on Kiev.

“Everything is in Ukraine’s hands. No, not because I want to push this topic on Zelensky or Ukraine. In fact, everything is now in Ukraine’s hands,” Lukashenka commented.

He clarified that Kiev must reach an agreement with the Kremlin if it does not want “the death of people in large numbers”.

“It’s hard, hard, but we have to stop, we have to stop it, because further there will be a complete destruction of Ukraine. It’s not like Putin once said long before the “operation” that this would threaten the loss of statehood – this would be the destruction of Ukraine, we must stop,” stressed the head of state, an ally of Russia.

At the same time, he compared the situation with the Second World War, after which “the wounds healed” and everyone was ready to be friends and cooperate with Germany. He believes that the same development of events is possible for Ukraine, Russia and Belarus.

“So it’s here. We will cope, we will make amends. We will probably be able to explain to the Ukrainian people even now what happened,” said the President of the Republic of Belarus.

He specified that this topic was casually raised at the CSTO summit, which was held yesterday, November 23, in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

We will remind, said the head of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko The CSTO will exist regardless of the outcome Russian war in Ukraine.

On the eve of the summit, opponents took to the streets in Yerevan, protesting Putin’s visit to the country.
