Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree according to which part of the presidential functions related to the privatization of state property is transferred to the government and local authorities. On Thursday, July 22, the press service of Lukashenka reported.
“The functions of the head of state to coordinate the issue of additional issues of shares created in the process of privatization of open joint-stock companies processing agricultural products, the shares of which are owned by the Republic of Belarus, have been transferred to the government,” it was reported.
The decree also states that if the shares of these OJSCs are owned by administrative-territorial units, the functions are transferred by agreement to the “regional executive committees and the Minsk city executive committee.”
Thus, Lukashenka amended his decree of March 20, 1998 On the privatization of state property in the Republic of Belarus.
It was previously reported that LUkashenko is ready to transfer up to 80% of powers government and parliament.
