President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko considers the course of the presidential race in the United States “a mockery of democracy.”
Lukashenka is confident that Western countries will be afraid to demand that the Americans hold new elections.
“It’s a shame,” Lukashenka said on Saturday.
Lukashenka is also convinced that relations between Belarus and the United States will not change, no matter who takes the seat in the White House.
“I do not expect the situation to change,” the Belarusian head of state said.
As for the situation in Belarus itself, Lukashenka has high hopes for the new Constitution.
Life “will move forward,” the President of Belarus noted, but “without breakdowns and disasters.”
Now the draft Constitution is being prepared. The revised version will be publicly discussed before the referendum.
On Saturday, Lukashenko visited the BelNPP in the town of Ostrovets, Grodno region, the agency writes BelTA.
