The President of Belarus will leave for Russia on a working visit. This was reported to BelTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Already in the coming weekend Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will hold talks, which were agreed upon earlier. The head of the Belarusian state announced this meeting while talking to journalists from foreign and Belarusian media: “We agreed to meet in the near future.”
The negotiating agenda has been set, and there are many issues to be discussed. Traditionally, for meetings between the leaders of Belarus and Russia, this is a wide range of the most important and basic topics for bilateral relations: security issues, the international agenda, economic cooperation, the implementation of allied programs, joint opposition to illegal sanctions pressure, and much more.
