Lukas Podolski has apparently found a new club. According to a report, it will be presented to Gornik Zabrze on Tuesday. Clips in the social networks also point this out
Lukas Podolski is apparently drawn to Poland for what may be the last chapter of his illustrious football career. According to the “Bild” newspaper, the 36-year-old will be presented to Gornik Zabrze on Tuesday. With the Polish first division club Podolski should sign for one year plus an option.
An Instagram video on the striker’s profile, as well as a Twitter clip from the club, also give clues to the upcoming announcement of the transfer. “The legend goes on,” wrote Gornik Zabrze.
The Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had previously reported that Podolski was in “advanced talks” with Gornik. Zabrze is located near Gliwice, where Podolski was born on June 4, 1985.
Most recently, the long-time goalscorer of 1. FC Köln played in Turkey for the first division club Antalyaspor. “For me, it’s about playing another year or two, having fun and living in a good city,” the 130-time national player told the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger in June.
