At the U21 European Championship, Lukas Nmecha shot the German selection to win the final against Portugal. Now he wants to return from Manchester City to the German upper house.
Frankfurt am Main/Leipzig/Stuttgart – U21 European Champion Lukas Nmecha (22) want to go back to the Bundesliga! Neither with his long-term employer, Manchester City, nor with RSC Anderlecht, to whom he was last loaned, the 22-year-old sees his footballing Future. And apparently three clubs from the German upper house want to grant him this wish.

How Sky Sport reported, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart and last season’s runner-up, RB Leipzig, could very well imagine a commitment to Nmecha.
The Hamburg-born star really rose at the U21 continental tournament in Slovenia and Hungary.
Not only did he score the golden goal in the final against Portugal, with four goals the center forward also became the top scorer of the competition. The coach of the Skyblues, Pep Guardiola (50), he could not seem to convince.

Furthermore, one sees in the star ensemble no use for the German young national player. In Belgium Nmecha had a “fantastic year” according to his own statements, but he still had to “move on”, the 1.85 meter tall attacker continued.
Nmecha, who has German and English citizenship, has already been able to gain initial experience in the Bundesliga. From August 2019 to January 2020 he was awarded by Manchester to VfL Wolfsburg. However, the shortness of the loan suggests that this interlude was not very successful.
Nmecha has also played on loan for Preston North End and Middlesbrough FC. He has not yet been allowed to celebrate a mission for the first team of the Citizens.
