No goal for Romelu Lukaku in Serie A this weekend. The Red Devils striker remained silent, like his team, away to Juventus (0-0). On the Old Lady’s side, Samuel Mbangula did not leave the bench.
Lukaku has resumed his place in Antonio Conte’s starting XI. Our other compatriot at Napoli, Cyril Ngonge, did not take part in Saturday night’s summit clash in Turin.
At Juventus, coach Thiago Motta did not give Mbangula a chance this time. The match never really got going in northern Italy. Both teams took a conservative approach and wanted to avoid taking too many risks.
Naples remains in the lead
Lukaku, isolated up front, was not at his best. After 72 minutes, he left the pitch to make way for Giovanni Simeone. Thanks to this draw, Naples now has 10 points from five matches and is leading the race, followed by Juventus with nine points.
