Lukaku is one step away from ending his 10-year fast

Romelu Lukaku has been in the final Europa League together Inter Milan. One more step Lukaku ended his 10-year title fast.

Inter advanced to the final after defeating Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0 in the semifinal match at the Rhein Energie Stadium, Tuesday (18/8/2020) early morning WIB. The man from Belgium contributed two goals for the Nerazzurri.

This makes Lukaku very close to the title he hasn’t felt for a long time. The last time Lukaku lifted the trophy was in 2009/2010 while playing for Anderlecht.

The 191cm striker won the Belgian League title while also holding the top scorer award, which is 15 goals.

Bad season Romelu Lukaku started at Chelsea. He moved to leave Anderlecht to Stamford Bridge in the 2011/2012 season. At that moment Chelsea actually won the FA Cup, but Lukaku was not considered to have won the title because he only played for two minutes throughout the tournament. Now, Lukaku at Inter. He was only able to deliver Inter to the Coppa Italia semifinals and runner-up of the Italian League. The Europa League is now another opportunity for Lukaku to end his 10-year drought, almost as much as trophy thirst for his club.
