As the match entered injury time, Lukaku was unable to find the net again. Thorgan Hazard’s pass was erroneously anticipated by Lukaku. Instead of heading or kicking the ball, Lukaku directs the ball with his chest.
Lukaku’s four missed chances prevented Belgium from beating Croatia. the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
This makes Belgium certain to exit the 2022 World Cup because in another Group F match, Morocco won 2-1 over Canada.
