It couldn’t have been great for Luka Cruysberghs (19) when she heard that Geike Arnaert would take her place as a singer at Hooverphonic. “A physical meeting was not possible,” she told MNM.

“I heard it through Zoom. It was a bit of a shock. The past days were therefore overwhelming. But I understand. In the meantime I have been able to give it a place. ” No feelings of resentment, then. Cruysberghs is continuing her solo career.
Under the watchful eye of the Universal label, Cruysberghs is working on her first own single. It is not yet known whether she will tap into a different musical tune than that of her previous group. “We are going to write songs with as many different people as possible, so that we have a lot of choice. We will then choose the best single from that. ” For now, only one thing is certain: the song will be released early next year. (goddess)
