Luka Doncic says goodnight early with 50 points in Dallas’ win

Houston – Luca Doncic had a season-high 50 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, and the Dallas Maverick defeated the Houston Rockets 112-106 on Friday.

Doncic, who also had 10 assists and eight rebounds, was 17-of-30 from the field, including 6-of-12 from 3-point range. It was the second game of his career with 50 points. He previously recorded 51 against the Clippers on February 10, 2022.

Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans each had 11 points for Dallas, who shot 45% on 16-of-44 from 3-point range.

Jabari Smith Jr. finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds, Jalen Green added 23 points and eight rebounds, and Alperen Sengun had 19 points and eight rebounds for Houston, who lost for the fifth straight.

Kevin Porter Jr. had 14 points and Kenyon Martin Jr. had 10 for the Rockets, who made 46% of their shots.
