Luka Doncic’s return to the slopes has been a blessing for Dallas. Since the point guard is on the floor, they count all their games for victory for a total of six in a row. Last night, against some Bulls even on a better streak than them – they came from nine wins in a row – the Texas players again showed their great moment to beat them 113-99.
Doncic was the best of his own again. The Slovenian delighted those present with a new triple-double, the 39th in his career, thus leading the team in points (22), rebounds (14) and assists (14). It is undoubtedly the light that shines on everything in the American Airlines Center.
In the absence of Jason Kidd,Sean Sweeney led the Mavs off the bench. He praised Doncic, but preferred to focus on the team effort defensively. “The defensive bond combined with the effort has been very strong lately. We’re doing a good job of understanding what the plan is, and then if there’s something we’re not ready for, we cover for each other when it’s needed. “
Dallas won, but Chicago was better at times; so much so that late in the second quarter those of Illinois dominated by 10 points.
