Luis Suarez i got a new club again after i quit National. Suarez moved to the participants Brazil League Guild.
Suarez decided to leave his childhood club Nacional because his contract expired on December 31, 2022. Even though Suarez had just led Nacional to win the Uruguay League by scoring eight goals in 16 games.
But that’s all Suarez defended Nacional because he still wanted to find a challenge before hanging up his boots.
Several clubs from the Middle East, the United States and Saudi Arabia made offers. However, Suarez is more interested in Gremio’s offer.

Yes, the Brazilian club offered a two-year contract until 2023. Suarez also accepted and finally officially joined Gremio as of Sunday (1/1/2023) early morning WIB.
“One of the greatest players in the history of Uruguay has arrived to continue the tradition of its champion, Luis Suarez,” reads a note from Gremio.
“A great scorer, an omnipresent champion and a fighter. Welcome, Luisito.”
Luis Suarez’s debut is likely to come when Gremio meet Sao Luiz in the Recopa Gaucha Super Cup on 17 January. Suarez met his former Liverpool colleague Lucas Leiva again.
“I want to thank you for the love I have received. We will meet soon,” said Luis Suarez, who has played in Europe for Groningen, Ajax Amsterdam, Liverpool, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
