Luís Filipe Vieira: «I don’t have money to pay my debts» – Benfica

Luís Filipe Vieira guaranteed, in statements to Correio da Manhã, which is unable to pay Novo Banco the 160 million euros lent to it by this banking institution, with just two weeks to go before the credit term expires.

“I don’t have money to pay the debts,” the former president of Benfica told CM. According to Cofina’s newspaper, Vieira will, in return, deliver to Novo Banco the shares he holds in Promotelor, one of his companies. “Everything has already been taken care of to hand over the shares,” he added.
