Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Panjaitan gives a signal that the price Pertalite and LPG 3 kg will rise following Pertamax. He revealed the signal when he visited the Jabodebek LRT Depot in Jatimulya, East Bekasi, Friday (1/4).
For 3 kg LPG or melon LPG, the increase will be carried out gradually because the price has not increased since 2007.
“Regarding the 3 kg gas, we will do it in stages. So April 1, later in July, later in September. The government will do it all in stages,” Luhut continued.
Meanwhile for Pertalite, Luhut has not disclosed when the increase will be carried out.
“Overall (overall) that will happen later, Pertamax, Pertalite (increase). Premium has not. Yes, everything will go up. No one will go up,” he said.
Luhut added that the increase was difficult to avoid amid the surge in oil prices that occurred due to the recent conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
The government raised the price of Pertamax from the range of Rp. 9,000 to Rp. 12,500-Rp. 13,000 per liter, depending on the region.
The Pertamax price increase of IDR 12,500 per liter applies in 10 provinces, namely West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Banten, Bali, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, Aceh and DKI Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the Pertamax price of IDR 12,750 per liter in 21 provinces, namely North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bangka-Belitung, Lampung, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo. , Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua, and West Papua.
And for the Pertamax price of IDR 13,000 per liter, it applies in three provinces, namely Bengkulu, Batam and Riau Islands.
The increase was carried out to deal with the spike in world oil prices that occurred due to the recent Russia-Ukraine conflict.
