In Luhansk, after the occupation by Russian mercenaries, public transport has undergone devastating changes. Trams stopped running there, so for years they rot under the open sky, turning into trash.
About this in his Telegram channel written by a journalist, blogger and member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group Denis Kazansky… He also posted a photo (to watch, scroll the news to the end).
It is known that until June 7, 2015, the Lugansk electric tram system consisted of one tram depot and nine routes. According to the journalist, with the arrival of the “Russian world”, the city no longer needed the tram fleet (it was opened on June 1, 1934).
So, the blogger noted, the rails and the contact network are uprooted and handed over to the metal. At the same time, the cars rust and rot, remaining in the open air “in anticipation of cutting and remelting.”
“In the new Middle Ages, trams are no longer needed. Thank you, Russia!” – emphasized Kazansky.
Recall: at the end of last year in temporarily occupied Luhansk dismantled the rails on Artem Street… On some sections of the road, there are no tram tracks left at all. And the residents of the city, who supported the “LPR”, expressed their indignation at such a decision of the “authorities”.
