FLY: Allegris will be the biggest product and service upgrade in the company’s history. A total of 2.5 billion euros will be invested in the program by 2025, Lufthansa announced when the Allegris concept was made public.

– The new First Class Suite Plus gives the same feeling of privacy and individualism as a hotel room – only that it happens at an altitude of 11,000 metres, explained CEO Jens Ritter of Lufthans Airlines during the launch.

Many new choices in Business Class

For the first time, passengers on Lufthansa’s Business Class will also be able to have their own suite in the air.

Partitions and sliding doors will create intimate and private “rooms”. In these suites, you can get up to a 27-inch screen, plenty of storage space, a private minibar and a separate wardrobe. It is also possible to merge two rooms so that people traveling together can be together in more private conditions.

In Business Class there will be six different seat choices, depending on whether you want an extra long bed (220 cm), extra space and work facilities, a seat with a crib or simply just an exclusive seat by the window.

All the seats have the option of being regulated with a heating or cooling effect – depending on the passenger’s wishes.

More space in the economy classes

The main improvements in the economy classes are better space: The seats should be able to be folded down even more, without it bothering the person sitting behind. It should also be possible to book the seat in front of or next to you to ensure better space.

80 is a Lufthansa flight

The Allegris upgrade will take place with over 80 brand new aircraft, such as Boeing 787-9, Airbus A350 and Boeing 777-9 which will fly to destinations around the world.

Current Lufthansa aircraft such as the Boeing 747-8 will also be upgraded to the new standard. In total, the Allegris program includes 27,000 passenger seats being replaced or modernized.
