In contrast to the dominant performance in the league hit with Plzeň (3:0), Jindřich Trpišovský made it into the starting line-up three times. Then, on the first day of September, the Slavist coach was asked if Jurásek had to be added. A simple answer followed. “They have to. And he knows it,” agreed Trpišovský. “That’s why he played in the base. He misses summer training terribly, it’s a shame because he had a really good build-up at the end of last season. He is very positive about hard work, even without the ball.”

Since the aforementioned duel, Jurásek played only eleven minutes in the following matches. In the national team break, since he was not nominated by Ivan Hašek for the start of the League of Nations, he worked on his physical. The club praised his approach, so he got a chance in Bulgaria.

And he was very solid. From the first minute, he was involved in offensive actions under the tip, he did not slow them down, on the contrary, he was one of the few who managed to escalate the situation. He performed the peak number in the thirty-seventh minute. Diouf started the action with a pass to Choré, who in a rather incomprehensible way was given priority by a trio of defending players of the opponent. At the top of the Slavist attack, Habán moved the ball to the right of Juraska. It already looked like he had missed the perfect moment to finish. But he didn’t trust the shot with his right foot, so he pulled the ball to the left and hit the gap in the goalkeeper Padt’s position. Riding on his knees, and with a gesture with an antler on his forehead, the former celebrated his first competitive goal of the season.

Before leaving the square after an hour, he managed to set up a second shot for Bořil with an arc, but he was in an offside position. Jurásek did roll, but otherwise Slavia’s game seemed frantic, defensively uncertain. The machine that crossed Pilsen failed to get off to a full start in Razgrad.

Mainly in the first half, the players did not hold on to the ball, they threw a lot of them away, the cooperation between the lines did not work. Oscar and Zafeiris were failing in the midfield, Wallem’s problems have already been discussed. That is why significant chances were initially counted only on the home side. However, the Swiss representative Duah behaved amateurishly in the tutovka, before half-time he missed the next opportunity with his head, and Seco, in an excellent position, did not hit the right area. The stitchers had a handle, the critical moments stood still, and then came Jurassic’s cold-blooded attack. Since then, the match has taken one course.

After the break, Slavia expertly guarded their entry into the Europa League. Diouf was able to calm the situation at first, but Chytil corrected the teenager’s hesitation from the subsequent corner, and it was resolved. The league stage was kicked off by the seamers with an important triumph.
