Lucky Norwegian Woman Wins NOK 74,317,765 in Vikinglotto, But Won’t Answer the Phone

A Norwegian woman was the only one to get 6+0 straight in Vikinglotto on Wednesday evening, and thus won the second prize pool of a whopping NOK 74,317,765 million.

This is stated by digital content producer at Norsk Tipping, Tina Wasa Kartomten, in a press release.

Kartomten stated that the woman was going to be called, but just before 10 p.m. a colleague of hers, Ola Thorset, can say that the woman does not pick up the phone.

– The winner has tried to be called, and does not pick up the phone. We will try again at 22.00, and then the last attempt will be today, Norsk Tipping tells Dagbladet.

Not even at 10 p.m. has she answered the phone, informs Norsk Tipping. Now they hope that she will answer the phone tomorrow morning.

– It is good for her that she still does not know that she has won, so it will be exciting to finally get hold of her and hear how she reacts to this, says lottery and winner manager Ingrid Roterud Mathisen in Norsk Tipping to Dagbladet.

No one got 6+1 right and walked away with the first prize in the year’s first Vikinglotto draw on Wednesday.

This prize ranks 30th among prize payouts at Norsk Tipping. The largest payout was 485.1 million, and came in the Eurojackpot in June 2020.

Dagbladet encourages the woman to pick up the phone from Norsk Tipping!
