Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp – a collection of remakes of the first Advance Wars game for the Game Boy Advance from 2001 and its 2003 sequel – was originally scheduled to be released late last year for Nintendo Switch. However, the release has been delayed several times. The game was first postponed to April 8 this year, because the developer needed more time. However, it is now April 10 and we are still waiting for the release, because Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was a month ago was postponed again because of the events in Ukraine.
No new release date was announced at the time, so it is currently still unclear when Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will be available. For at least one lucky Nintendo Switch owner, the wait is over. Twitter user @killetheth says that they have previously pre-loaded the game and now this digital version has suddenly become fully playable.
Apparently the game is already finished, but something went wrong with the most recent postponement, so that Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is already playable for some gamers.
