The honest attitude of the electric train security guard (security guard)KRL) made him lucky. The story begins when the security guard finds an envelope filled with money inside the KRL.
Is Edwin Mulyadi the name of the train escort officer (walka). Edwin’s act of honesty was widely appreciated.
Edwin found a brown envelope that allegedly belonged to a KRL passenger. The envelope which turned out to contain money was then handed over to the officer at Rangkasbitung StationBanten.
It was stated that the envelope contained millions of rupiah in cash. The envelope of money was handed over to the station clerk for the owner to collect.
From the circulating photos, it appears that the money inside the envelope contained denominations of IDR 50,000. The envelope containing the money was found on the train which allegedly belonged to one of the KRL passengers.
Train Commuter Indonesia (KCI) Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan said one of the tasks of a walka officer is to always inspect all trains when they arrive at their destination station. The discovery of the envelope containing the money was then recorded as part of the goods discovery procedure.
“The officer handed over the envelope to the station clerk to be recorded as leftover items,” said Leza when asked for confirmation, Monday (6/3/2023).
After checking, the envelope contained Rp. 3 million in cash. From the circulating photos, it appears that the envelope is filled Money IDR 50 thousand denomination.
KCI reminds passengers to be vigilant and careful.
“KAI Commuter appeals to all users to keep their belongings from being left behind and mixed up. Take care of safety and stay alert when commuting,” he said.

Edwin’s honest actions earned him an award from the company. Edwin’s wise actions have become a commendable track record and example for other employees.
KAI Service appreciate Edwin for his service to KRL customers.
“The company really appreciates Edwin Mulyadi’s honesty in carrying out his duties to serve KRL users,” said Vice President Corporate Secretary KAI Services, Rachman Firhan, in a written statement received detikcomTuesday (7/3).
He said the pattern of coaching security officers at KAI Services in general must be firm but still humane. Employees are also asked to uphold honesty.
