From time to time, Louise Womack would be tempted to put up for sale the house in which she lived. The four-bedroom single-family home she raised her family in with her husband, Laurence, can be difficult to follow.
After Laurence passed away in 2013 and with “Lou” retired, using half of her income to pay off the mortgage and meet upkeep, the temptation to sell was strong. And yet, one thing came to his mind: it was the house. And that’s what really matters.
“I love where I am now,” Louise said in a phone interview from Oklahoma on Sunday. “We built this house. The house was important to me to keep – the only thing we did together. “
