Several sources say to TVLine than renegotiations between Tom Ellis and Warner Bros. Television for a potential sixth season of the evil drama Netflix has stalled, the actor would have rejected the studio’s latest offer. As TVLine reported it earlier this year, Tom Ellis already has a deal for season 6 of Lucifer, therefore depending on the circumstances, his failure to honor the existing agreement would put him in breach of contract. Despite what appears to be the legal upper hand, Warner Bros. TV has, according to sources, gone back and has “soften the situation” several. “Everyone wants Tom to be happy”explains the initiate. “But there is a limit, and it is reached. “Netflix and Warner Bros. Television officials declined to comment on the story. Likewise, Tom Ellis spokesperson made no comments … Have Lucifer’s hopes for a season 6 gone to dust? Case to follow!
